Women tend to eat more during menstrual cycle. Nothing wrong in that, But eating unhealthy comfort foods which are high in sugar and fat. Thus, women are subjected to mood swings, frustrations and pain. Food which contains Arachnoid acid should be prohibited because the excessive intake will lead to muscle and uterine contractions. Avoid red meat, egg yolks and poultry to stay away from the cramps.
Drink plenty of water. This is a hard and fast rule to stay healthy. Put a hot water bag on the abdomen to relieve cramps.

- Take bath with luke warm water
