Sprouts Soya Protein Salad #HealthRecipes
Sprouts are one of the healthiest forms of proteins when we allow the sprouts to keep overnight and allow the sprouting to happen. We are increasing the nutrient value of those sprouts which in a way will benefit us on our health.
Salads are form of dietary forms that you can eat beginning of your meal. But a meal like sprouted salads ,you can certainly replace this for your lunch or dinner as the nutrient value is equal to the lunch meal minus the calories. A combination of sprouts with soya which is again very high in proteins forms a best way to add proteins in your diet. Also this keeps us filling throughout for three to four hours without having any urge of hunger for couple of hours.
Proteins is not only good for people who want to stay fit and healthy but it is also good for growing children as they are the ones who are in utmost need of proteins. Let’s begin making it
• Mix sprouts(One bowl)
• Soya chunks(soaked)
• Mushrooms(fined chopped)
• Green chilly(Finely chopped)
• Coriander (chopped)
• Salt to taste
• Chat masala
• Chilly Flakes
• Grated cheese
Method: Take mix sprouts and allow it for sprouting for more than 10 hours. When spouted, you can take them in a bowl, add all the ingredients like finely chopped onions,tomatoes,cucumber, soya,mushrooms.Make sure you soak and boil soya chunks for better taste. You can also sauté mushrooms and add in salad so that they taste cooked to you. Add chopped chillies, salt, chaat masala, oregano, chilli flakes and mix this well. Serve it with some coriander and for children you can also add some grated cheese to it at the end. This will make the salad look good and would taste wonderful for those children who love cheese. For others who want to have some healthy snack for evening, have this without cheese.
Alternatively : People who love paneer,can also add some small cut paneer cubes to this salad.Paneer is also rich in proteins if consumed in limits.Paneer is also a loved dish amongst children,so you can certainly spice the dish up with some paneer cubes or grated paneer as per your wish.
This can be a best dish to be served in the evening or best if you want to have light dinner.
