3 Best Home Remedies to Cure Rheumatoid Arthritis
According to a Minnesota study conducted in 1995 and Census data of 2005 approximately 1.3 million people in United States suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Although that’s a mere 0.6% of country’s total population and percentage of this chronic disease is on a decline since 1960s, still it’s a highly severe and painful health condition for those who suffer from it. In case you don’t know, Rheumatoid Arthritis is an inflammatory disorder that primarily affects small joints of the body. Unlike osteoarthritis, it affects only lining of joints and leaves a painful swelling over them. If not cured on time, that swelling and pain eventually lead to joint deformity and bone erosion.

Rest and relaxation is perhaps the best natural remedy that you can apply for curing RA. Take eight hours of sleep, deep breathes, meditation, massage and other deep relaxation exercises for preventing the growth of disease. However, keep in mind that in some cases eight hours of sleep may not be enough for RA patients, depending on the condition of their problem. So if you feel that you don’t get enough sleep in night, include a two-hour nap during afternoon in your schedule.
2. Exercise: Another great remedy for RA treatment is exercising regularly. It increases the strength of muscles, helps in preventing fatigue and increases range of motion. Simple and easy exercises like Water aerobics, swimming, gentle stretching and walking can do enough to cure RA. You don’t need to think about high-impact exercises and other similar sports when you’re suffering from this disease.
3. Hot and cold solutions: Applying an ice pack to joints with RA can help in easing the swelling. Cold ice may also numb the paining muscles, which may provide a feeling of relaxation. If you’re suffering from tight and aching muscles then a warm bath, hot shower or a hot towel can help in relaxing tense muscles.
